Fawaz Building Materials Boosts Susan’s Bay Fire Victims

By Aluspa
As part of his routine humanitarian gestures to the less-privileged in society, one of Sierra Leone’s business moguls and philanthropists, Abdul Hamid Hajj Fawaz, the CEO of Fawaz Building Materials has on Thursday 1st April, 2021 donated 300 bags of rice and 20 pieces of tapolins to victims of the fire incidents at Susan’s Bay.
This donation was made in addition to smaller donations he had earlier made in both cash and kind to the victims of that terrible inferno that affected over 1,557 households and left thousands homeless.
Speaking to this press, Fawaz noted that he felt compelled as a philanthropist to make such a gesture to the victims whose wellbeing and livelihoods have been badly affected by the inferno as he expressed sympathy for them and prayed for God to see them through this difficult time.
He called on other business people and goodwill ambassadors to come to the victims’ aid as he stressed that this was a very difficult and trying time for them.
The community chief and other stakeholders whilst receiving the donation thanked Fawaz for his kind gesture.
They stated that they were not surprised to have received the donation from him as humanitarian assistance has been part and parcel of his life all through.
They recalled his continuous numerous support to the less-privileged, religious groups, communities and many others across the country at all times especially during every Ramadan.
They ended by calling on other business people across the country to emulate the good works of Fawaz especially in the area of humanitarian gestures.
