…SLRSA ED Protects Corrupt Transport Director
The Executive Director of the Sierra Leone Roads Safety Authority, Rev. Smart Senesi, along with the Director of Human Resources, are accused of shielding Arthur Brima, the embattled Director of Transportation at the authority.
Arthur Brima was incriminated in an internal investigation committee report, which was leaked to this medium, for colluding with external parties to, among other unfavorable discoveries, unlawfully register a right-hand drive vehicle, in violation of government regulations.
The committee put forth a multitude of recommendations, including the immediate termination of the Transportation Director and a complete overhaul of the department.
Unfortunately, the Executive Director, allegedly in cahoots with the Director of Human Resources, not only neglected to execute the committee’s recommendations but also appeared to be fervently shielding Mr. Brima, who seems to be the right-hand man of the Executive Director and an accomplice.
According to reports, the Executive Director and the HR Director purposefully refrained from not only implementing the committee’s recommendations but also from disclosing the report to the board and management for further action.
As of late, the SLRSA has been under intense scrutiny for all the wrong reasons, prompting numerous investigations by the Anti-Corruption Commission into various corrupt practices at the institution.
Instead of striving to restore the institution’s tarnished reputation, the current Executive Director, a supposed Man of God who should have set a good example, is observed to be exacerbating the situation, further sullying the authority’s already tainted image.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director and management did not respond to a letter of inquiry sent to them by this medium.
