FULANI BROTHERS IN HOT WATERS
…For Killing Police Officer during August 10th Insurrection

Fulani Siblings, Ibrahim and Yusuf Bah, are said to be in hot waters as authorities in Sierra Leone have declared them wanted for various felonious offences including murder, incitement and subversion.
The declaration came following their alleged involvement in the violent events of the August 10th insurrection, where dozens, including over six law enforcement officers and over thirty civilians lost their lives.
Police say Ibrahim and Yusuf have been identified as the prime suspects in the incitement and tragic killing of a dedicated police officer during the tumultuous events of August 10, 2022.
As the investigation unfolds, law enforcement officials have singled out Ibrahim and Yusuf Bah as pivotal figures in the protest that rocked the core of the existing government.
These individuals, belonging to the Fulani tribe and adherents of the Islamic faith, have stunned the nation with their atrocious display of aggression.
The Sierra Leone Police therefore urged the community to remain vigilant as the fugitives are currently evading capture by the authorities.
Several raids have been conducted at their former place of residence but they are nowhere to be seen.
In another development, it has come to light that their father is embroiled in a significant financial dispute with his closest confidant, a situation that traditionally compel Ibrahim and Yusuf to either settle the debt or face the repercussions of legal action and ultimate imprisonment.
This discovery was made following a thorough investigation aided by local informants, during which communication was established with their mother. She unveiled the family’s predicament, unraveling a complex tapestry of personal challenges that might have influenced the brothers’ actions.
“If you happen to encounter Ibrahim and Yusuf anywhere, it is crucial to prioritize public safety by promptly informing the authorities or escorting them to the nearest police precinct. The pursuit of justice hinges on the community’s cooperation in ensuring that these fugitives are expeditiously brought to justice for their transgressions. Let us unite in upholding the sanctity of the law and shielding our society from such acts of violence,” authorities emphasized during a press briefing at the Sierra Leone Police headquarters on George Street, Freetown.
As at press time, the whereabouts of the Fulani brothers remains unknown but authorities have placed a handsome reward for anyone with information that may lead to their capture.
