FOR EFFECTIVE SERVICE DELIVERING IN COMMUNITIES …VP JULDEH JALLOH ADVOCATES FOR LOCAL COUNCILS’ SUPPORT
The Vice President Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh told councils and Ministers this morning at the Inter Ministerial Committee (IMC) on decentralization and local governance meeting which took place at the City Hall that “ a working group will be established to follow through and oversee the effective implementation of the outcome of the Inter Ministerial Committee meeting including the Fiscal Decentralization Policy”.
The Vice President who chairs the IMC further revealed that amongst other things request will be made to the Ministry of Finance to consider supporting the 22 councils with vehicles and capital grants to bolster their effectiveness to deliver services.
