Just as the Bible says blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called the sons of God but this time around a daughter of God within the All People Congress(APC) Diana Finda Konomanyihas taken upon herself to start a peace process using her female counterparts in the party.
The Political juggernaut has traversed the South-East of Sierra Leone calling on the women of the party to unite because according to her when the women initiate peace there will be real peace.
In Bo, Madam Konomanyi said that they want peace for all the APC women in the country and her plan is to encourage the APC women to come together.
“APC Women let’s wake up. This is the time for us to come together and unite to take the power,” she maintained.
She said that she is not engaging in the peace drive for the position of Flagbeaer but her mission is to bring the woman together from the ward level to the national.
“The value of the party is from the grassroots. We have to put seriousness or we will lose 2028. The focus of the APC is 2028. Nobody denied electoral justice but you don’t depend on it until time elapsed, “she stressed.
She noted that even the executive has decided that there should be reason for peace in the party, pointing out that when women are determined to do something they will do it.
Same message was taken to other districts in the south-east, calling on the women of the party to unite because when they do the men will have no other option. Madam Konomanyi will start the same process in the North and Western Area of the Country.
Stakeholders praised Madam Konomanyi, describing her as a blessing not only to the APC but Sierra Leone.
