It is no secret that Sierra Leone’s Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh holds the Management, Board and Staff of National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) in very good stead, the reason why he is already planning to organize a grand May Day celebration promoting social dialogue, social protection and related fields.
Other fields such as occupational safety and health, investment, NASSIT contributions, workers’ compensation, minimum wage, and better terms and conditions of service would also come under the spotlight with a view to improving it upwards.
It is against this background that the Director General of NASSIT Mohamed Fuuad Daboh and his professional team of experts are working assiduously behind the scenes to make NASSIT the dream and hope of every Sierra Leonean.
It is the fervent wish of NASSIT to bring NASSIT to the doorsteps of all Sierra Leoneans and to also ensure that each and every Sierra Leone of working age is a member of the Scheme.
With this type of determination and zeal, there is total confidence in the Management, Board and Staff of NASSIT that pretty soon this audacious plan and wish of NASSIT would come to past because it is said, were there is a way, there is a will!
